Senior Consultant – Freelance AI Project (MBB Experience Required)

About the role

We are looking for a senior consultant with experience at a top‑tier strategy firm to help design realistic consulting scenarios for training advanced AI systems. The role is fully remote, project‑based and focuses on translating real‑world consulting engagements into structured learning environments.

Key responsibilities

• Build detailed, industry‑specific consulting project scenarios that reflect real engagement dynamics, including financial data, constraints, and ambiguous information.
• Design discrete consulting tasks (e.g., market sizing, cost optimisation, growth strategy) that can be assigned to AI agents.
• Create evaluation rubrics, grading frameworks and golden‑answer solutions for each task to enable automated assessment of AI outputs.
• Collaborate with the AI and data‑generation team to ensure the scenarios are aligned with model training objectives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on consulting experience at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney or Strategy&.
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous client problems, build financial models or market analyses, and deliver client‑ready recommendations under tight deadlines.
• Comfort with uncertainty and defending recommendations in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑structuring capabilities.
• Experience creating financial models, market analyses, and synthesis of messy data.
