Senior Communications Advisor

About the role

Lotto NZ is seeking a senior communications professional to lead and enhance its internal communications programme. The successful candidate will bring fresh ideas and the expertise to execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and manage regular content for staff emails, Slack channels and the SharePoint intranet.
• Embed the newly refreshed intranet as a core communication channel and continuously improve its functionality.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to present communications updates and support high‑profile initiatives such as media enquiries and winner experiences.
• Work closely with a small, high‑performing corporate communications team covering media, government relations, public relations, reporting, grant storytelling, major projects and crisis communications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal communications with a track record of developing content for diverse audiences.
• Hands‑on experience creating and managing content in SharePoint or a similar intranet platform.
• Innovative mindset, strong relationship‑building abilities and the capacity to collaborate with key stakeholders.
