Senior Business Intelligence Analyst – Pacific Retail Banking

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to strengthen the Pacific product portfolio’s exception reporting ecosystem. You will help maintain, enhance and expand reporting solutions that support risk management, governance and customer outcomes across the Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data and reporting solutions.
• Design, build and improve product exception reports ensuring accuracy, scalability and reusability.
• Conduct peer reviews, share knowledge and support the team in delivering high‑quality analytics.
• Apply strong quality‑assurance practices to meet enterprise and regulatory standards.
• Align reporting solutions with ANZ’s Information & Insights strategy, policies and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering data, reporting or business intelligence solutions in banking or a similar data‑driven environment.
• Strong technical ability with SAS, SQL or comparable tools to extract, analyse and automate data processes.
• Attention to detail and a passion for producing accurate, high‑quality reporting outcomes.
• Experience developing, maintaining and improving BI solutions that support business decision‑making.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and share expertise.
