Senior Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the testing of Invenco by GVR’s payment and forecourt solutions. You will design, develop and execute automated test suites for hardware, embedded firmware and software, ensuring products meet industry and company quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create test strategies, plans and scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Set up and maintain hardware/software test environments, including off‑site certification activities.
• Develop and maintain automated test software, minimizing defects and improving repeatability.
• Perform product testing for releases, upgrades, feature additions and end‑of‑life redesigns.
• Provide technical support during system integration and user‑acceptance phases.
• Collaborate with Market Engineering, Product Development and PMO teams to deliver projects on time and to quality standards.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and maintain audit trails of modifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in test automation for embedded and hardware‑software systems.
• Strong understanding of product testing, quality assurance and software development lifecycle.
• Ability to manage testing workload and meet delivery deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
