Senior Audit Manager

About the role

Join ANZ’s Internal Audit team as a Senior Audit Manager, providing strategic, risk‑focused assurance to the Board Audit Committee. You will lead high‑performing audit teams, leveraging advanced digital tools and data analytics to enhance audit quality across technology domains and major transformation programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audits of technology areas such as cyber security, cloud infrastructure and large‑scale transformation initiatives.
• Deliver assurance reports directly to the Board Audit Committee, highlighting risks and root‑cause analysis.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and support audit owners throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Analyse the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with internal audit teams across Australia, India, Europe and the Pacific region.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in a technology‑focused assurance role, preferably within a professional services firm or comparable industry.
• Strong understanding of the financial services sector, especially technology and programme management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, law, computing or data science.
• Professional accreditation such as CA, CIA or CISA is highly desirable.
