Senior Associate – Accounting Platform

About the role

Join Zato, the AI‑driven platform reshaping accounting compliance across ANZ. As a Senior Associate you will own the end‑to‑end journey of accounting firms, from the first conversation through onboarding, training and ongoing expansion on our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Pitch, demo and onboard accounting firms onto the Zato platform, ensuring rapid activation of ledgers.
• Train and support accountants, building strong relationships with directors and partners.
• Drive expansion by identifying growth opportunities within existing firms and new business channels.
• Provide product feedback based on field experience to shape future development.
• Conduct market research, analysis and help craft compelling messaging for the market.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2‑4 years post‑qualification experience, or a strong commercial operator comfortable working with accountants.
• Curious and ambitious, seeking breadth of experience before deepening specialization.
• High agency with a track record of taking ownership of complex, unassigned challenges.
• Excellent interpersonal skills – able to win trust of clients and partners.
• Desire to build and own a growing business function within a fast‑scaling startup.
