Senior Accountant – Subsidiaries

About the role

The Senior Accountant – Subsidiaries will lead the end‑to‑end financial accounting function for multiple AUT entities on a one‑year fixed‑term parental leave cover. You will ensure accurate reporting, compliance and financial stewardship while partnering closely with subsidiary leadership teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts, board reports and manage external audits for each subsidiary.
• Coordinate with banks, fund managers and internal stakeholders to support cash management and financing activities.
• Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts and financial performance indicators.
• Maintain robust financial systems, ensure data integrity and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide expert advice to subsidiary leadership, driving transparency and informed decision‑making.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) with several years of experience in corporate accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex multi‑entity environments.
• Strong analytical judgment, attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across diverse teams.
