Senior Account Manager

About the role

We are expanding our commercial presence in Auckland and need a Senior Account Manager to win new business, build strategic partnerships and deliver results for some of New Zealand’s largest advertisers. You will work across Stuff’s premium publishing brands, digital ecosystem and events to create integrated campaigns that drive real business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new business opportunities, converting them into long‑term commercial partnerships.
• Grow strategic accounts by delivering insight‑led, integrated solutions across Stuff’s ecosystem.
• Design and execute campaigns that span premium mastheads, digital publishing, audience solutions, content partnerships and events.
• Maintain a high‑value sales pipeline with a strong focus on prospecting.
• Lead negotiations and close complex commercial deals with confidence.
• Act as a trusted adviser, understanding client objectives and uncovering growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, content, product and marketing specialists to deliver outstanding client outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven track record of hunting new business and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
• Experience selling complex commercial or marketing solutions, preferably in the media industry.
• Strategic thinker who enjoys solving business challenges.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with senior decision‑makers.
• Commercial curiosity and a passion for identifying the next opportunity.
• Team player who collaborates across a broad media ecosystem.
