Security Solution Specialist

About the role

Fujitsu is looking for a Security Solution Specialist to lead presales engineering and solution delivery across New Zealand. The role supports the Head of Cyber Growth in achieving strategic objectives and combines technical expertise with people‑management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Drive presales and post‑sales activities, including client engagement, solution design and delivery assurance.
• Develop and refine security service offerings, architecture, tooling and operational processes.
• Maintain architecture documentation and reusable solution assets.
• Ensure solution quality aligns with client and market requirements.
• Manage relationships with Fujitsu technical partners such as CrowdStrike, Netskope and Darktrace.
• Support internal initiatives like practice development, tooling standardisation and process improvement.
• Oversee client onboarding, maintain deep understanding of client environments and collaborate with SOC and ACIRT teams.
• Participate in strategic vendor programmes (e.g., CrowdStrike Champions, Netskope Evolve).
• Provide security training, onsite ITSM support and peer‑review of technical deliverables as needed.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with proven client‑facing experience in cyber security.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a direct report and mentor junior staff.
• Strong project and programme management, reporting and time‑priority management skills.
• Excellent communication skills to produce pre‑sales collateral and technical documentation.
