Security Analyst

About the role

As a Security Analyst at EROAD you will protect the company’s data, systems and services. Working within the Information Security team you will handle day‑to‑day security operations, automate routine tasks and support continuous improvement of the organisation’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts, primarily using Python.
• Monitor vulnerability scans, IAM reviews, patch management and blue‑team activities; coordinate remediation with product and engineering teams.
• Maintain security documentation, gather compliance evidence and contribute to security maturity assessments.
• Watch, triage and respond to alerts from XDR, CNAPP, IDS, external scanning and dark‑web monitoring platforms, tuning detection rules as needed.
• Assist in security incident response from investigation and containment through post‑incident review and reporting.
• Answer client security questionnaires and support security awareness and training initiatives.
• Participate in team‑based improvement projects and other security‑related initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a security analyst or in a comparable technical security role.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
• Collaborative mindset with solid communication abilities.
• Interest in supporting colleagues and improving overall security posture.

Required skills

• Python programming for automation.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) and related security frameworks.
• Hands‑on use of security tools such as XDR, vulnerability scanners and CNAPP solutions.
• Familiarity with IAM, patch management and blue‑team processes.
