Secondary Science Teacher – Full-time (Blenheim)

About the role

OneSchool Global NZ is seeking a full‑time permanent secondary science teacher for its Blenheim campus. The successful candidate will deliver engaging science lessons, both in‑person and via Zoom, across the school’s nationwide network.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned science lessons for secondary students, covering subjects such as earth and space science, horticulture, chemistry or physics.
• Facilitate hands‑on experiments and practical investigations to deepen student understanding.
• Provide timely feedback and assess student work in line with NCEA requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and share best practices.
• Utilise digital platforms, including Zoom, to support remote and hybrid learning.

Required profile

• New Zealand‑based teaching experience, preferably with NCEA assessment knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to teach secondary science subjects.
• Commitment to fostering curiosity and scientific inquiry.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Zoom or similar video‑conferencing tools.
