Seasonal Laboratory Dispatch Technician (Newstead)

About the role
We are seeking seasonal staff to join our Liquid Semen Laboratory at the Newstead site from September to December. The role supports the supply of fresh bull semen for artificial insemination across New Zealand, operating in a fast‑paced, quality‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the processing and dispatch of liquid semen samples.
- Follow standard operating procedures and health‑and‑safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure product quality.
- Work on a 5‑on‑2‑off roster, including early starts and weekend shifts during peak periods.
- Collaborate with a large team to meet production targets.
Required profile
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow SOPs and safety protocols.
- Team‑oriented, punctual and flexible.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn a variety of tasks; prior lab experience is a plus but not required.
