Seasonal Casual Sales Assistant (Weekend Cover)

About the role

This temporary position is for a Seasonal Casual Sales Assistant at LUSH in Wellington. You will be the friendly face of the store, providing a fun and engaging shopping experience during key weekend periods over the holiday season. The role focuses on delivering personalized product recommendations, demonstrations, and sample distribution while supporting the team to meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and create an inviting store atmosphere.
• Use product knowledge to give personalized recommendations and perform demonstrations.
• Distribute tailored samples and assist with in‑store events.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and visually appealing shop floor.
• Manage stock levels, ensure shelves are stocked, and adapt displays to seasonal trends.
• Control store costs, such as product waste, to stay within budget.
• Collaborate with the team to foster an inclusive and respectful environment.

Required profile

• Availability on 24, 26, 27 December and 1, 2 January for weekend coverage.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast‑paced retail environment.
