Seafood Assistant (Full-time)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Seafood Assistant to join the New World Stonefields team in Auckland. The role involves preparing and presenting high‑quality seafood products, maintaining attractive displays, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare seafood items to company standards.
• Set up, stock and maintain the seafood service area.
• Serve customers at the seafood and butchery counters.
• Create attractive product displays.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and health‑and‑safety standards.
• Support the wider seafood team with additional departmental duties.

Required profile

• Passion for food and willingness to learn.
• High personal hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Positive attitude and commitment to go the extra mile for customers.
• Reliability, trustworthiness and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time‑management and multitasking abilities.
