Schools and Community Recruitment Adviser

About the role

This full‑time position supports secondary‑school learners and their whānau as they explore university study pathways. Working closely with designated faculties, you will coordinate outreach, engagement and recruitment activities across schools and community groups.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging presentations, events and outreach activities to attract prospective school‑leaver students.
• Coordinate discipline‑specific recruitment initiatives in partnership with faculties.
• Provide programme‑specific insights to shape compelling digital and in‑person engagement content.
• Build strong relationships with career advisers, teachers, school leaders, students, whānau and community groups.
• Monitor school‑leaver applications, offers and enrolments within your faculty portfolio to help meet recruitment targets.
• Identify and implement improvements to the school‑leaver experience and engagement activities.

Required profile

• Confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with educators, students and community members.
