SAP Supply Chain Consultant (Inventory & Warehouse Management)

About the role

As an SAP Supply Chain Consultant focusing on Inventory and Warehouse Management, you will optimise and enhance existing SAP IM and WM/EWM configurations in a live, brown‑field environment. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure smooth operations while driving continuous improvements across supply‑chain processes, inventory control and system integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and optimise current SAP IM/WM/EWM settings, performing fit‑gap analysis and recommending best‑practice solutions.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and RICEFW objects.
• Configure core processes such as goods receipt, issue, stock transfers, inventory control, physical inventory, bin management, picking, packing and staging.
• Support master‑data governance for material masters, storage locations and warehouse structures.
• Collaborate with MM, SD, PP, Finance and EWM/TM teams on integration touch‑points and API mapping.
• Create and execute SIT, UAT and regression test scenarios, log defects and validate fixes.
• Document gap analysis, process designs and configuration changes, and contribute to ongoing system enhancements.

Required profile

• Eligible to work in New Zealand (citizen, PR holder or holder of a valid work visa).
• Willing to work onsite at any of the major NZ locations (Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch).

Required skills

• SAP Inventory Management (IM).
• SAP Warehouse Management (WM) / Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
• SAP functional configuration and customization.
• SAP RICEFW development (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
• SAP integration experience, including API mapping and cross‑module integration with MM, SD, PP and Finance.
• Master‑data governance in SAP (material master, storage locations, warehouse structures).
• SAP testing expertise (SIT, UAT, regression).
• Fit‑gap analysis and solution design for supply‑chain processes.
