SAP Developer – 6-Month Contract (Auckland)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Developer to join our team on a six‑month contract based in Auckland. The role focuses on building and extending SAP solutions using the latest ABAP, S/4HANA, and cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance SAP applications with ABAP and ABAP Objects.
• Create modern extensions using RAP, SAP BTP and the ABAP Cloud development model.
• Develop SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 front‑ends backed by OData services.
• Implement HANA‑based logic with AMDP and SQLScript.
• Maintain integrations via IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Lead technical design discussions and provide solution recommendations.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Ensure high development standards, testing practices and documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and promote consistent SAP engineering practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile delivery environment.

Required profile

• Senior‑level SAP developer with several years of hands‑on experience.
• Strong background in enterprise SAP landscapes, including SAP CRM and S/4HANA.
• Ability to work independently and guide other developers.
• Based in New Zealand with a valid work visa.
