SAP CPI Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP CPI Consultant to join our client’s team on a contract basis. You will design and deliver enterprise‑grade integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite, supporting complex A2A, B2B and B2G scenarios while working closely with functional and technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy end‑to‑end integration flows with SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
• Implement A2A, B2B and B2G integration scenarios, including REST and SOAP APIs.
• Manage API lifecycle using SAP API Management.
• Develop custom logic with Groovy, Java and XSLT.
• Build and support event‑driven architectures using SAP Event Mesh / Advanced Event Mesh.
• Implement and maintain security protocols such as OAuth 2.0, SAML and JWS.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise integration performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure solutions meet architectural standards.

Required profile

• 8+ years of overall SAP experience, with at least 3 years focused on SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Previous consulting or client‑facing experience.
• Ability to work onsite in Auckland and travel as needed.
