SAP Capability Development Lead

About the role

Capgemini is looking for an experienced SAP Capability Development Lead to grow its SAP practice in New Zealand. You will nurture existing client relationships, bring new ones, and build a high‑performing team of SAP consultants serving the utilities and public sector markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand the SAP consulting practice for the New Zealand market.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing and new SAP clients.
• Collaborate with Capgemini sector leads to identify and respond to business opportunities.
• Represent Capgemini at SAP events and act as the primary SAP point of contact for NZ customers.
• Provide thought‑leadership to drive both client success and internal practice growth.

Required profile

• 12+ years of overall SAP experience, including 8+ years in SAP Finance.
• Background in utilities or public sector projects (8+ years).
• Proven record of selling and delivering large and small IT projects using onshore/offshore models.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
