SAP Basis Technical Architect

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Senior Basis and Technical Architect to lead the design, deployment, and support of scalable, high‑performing SAP landscapes. The role combines hands‑on technical expertise with strategic leadership across on‑premise and Azure cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design and implementation of SAP landscapes covering S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA and BTP.
• Deliver high‑availability (HA) and disaster‑recovery (DR) solutions.
• Manage system installations, upgrades, OS/DB migrations, S/4HANA conversions and performance tuning.
• Ensure security, compliance and governance across SAP and Microsoft environments.
• Collaborate on Azure/cloud infrastructure sizing and enterprise landscape design.
• Guide Basis teams during build and production support phases.
• Drive technical strategy aligned with business transformation and innovation.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of SAP Basis/Technical Architecture experience.
• Proven involvement in 10+ full‑lifecycle SAP implementations.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA administration, and SAP upgrades/migrations.
• Deep knowledge of SAP cloud architectures, especially SAP on Azure (IaaS/PaaS).
• Experience with Fiori, OData and SAP integration tools.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications (SAP S/4HANA Technical Architecture, Azure) are a plus.
