SAP ABAP Developer – Auckland (Hybrid Contract)

About the role

Join a large enterprise organisation that runs complex SAP platforms. This hands‑on contract role supports a modern SAP development roadmap, working across S/4HANA, integrations, performance tuning and best‑practice delivery. The position is based in Auckland CBD with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical uplift and maintainability for enterprise SAP solutions.
• Develop and extend functionality on S/4HANA using ABAP and ABAP OO.
• Implement RAP services and SAP BTP extensions.
• Build and support Fiori/UI5 applications and OData services.
• Integrate systems via IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs and REST/SOAP APIs.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience with ABAP and ABAP OO in large SAP landscapes.
• Hands‑on experience with S/4HANA and modern extensibility concepts.
• Proven RAP development background and exposure to SAP BTP.
• Solid Fiori/UI5 and OData development and support skills.
• Integration expertise covering IDocs, BAPIs, RFC, REST and SOAP.
