Salesforce Technical Consultant

About the role

PwC is looking for a senior Salesforce Technical Consultant to join its Customer Transformation team in Wellington. You will act as a technical lead, designing and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions that create measurable business value for clients across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
• Design, develop, and deploy Salesforce architectures covering Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Create custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
• Build integrations between Salesforce and external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
• Lead solution design reviews, code reviews, testing, and deployments using DevOps best practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues while optimizing performance, security, and scalability.
• Champion technical governance, best‑practice adherence, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor consultants and technical team members to foster collaboration and learning.

Required profile

• Over 8 years of experience delivering complex Salesforce technical solutions in consulting or enterprise environments.
• Proven track record in public‑sector projects, working autonomously under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
