Sales Development Representative

About the role

As a Sales Development Representative you will be the first point of contact for new partners, representing the Xero brand and helping accountants and bookkeepers experience our technology. You will support Xero’s growth into new verticals by generating outbound pipelines and qualifying inbound leads.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a presence in a new vertical through targeted outbound sourcing.
• Qualify a high volume of inbound leads and introduce them to Xero’s partner products.
• Maintain and update prospecting records in Salesforce for better data analysis.
• Support the sales team by coordinating and executing sales‑led events.

• Passion for the SaaS industry and a desire to help small businesses succeed.
• Clear, kind, and effective communication style.
• Resourceful mindset with the ability to identify new business opportunities.
• Strong analytical skills to assess performance and optimise lead generation.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new software in a fast‑paced environment.
