Sales & Business Development Executive

About the role

Join ZEIL, an AI‑powered HR technology platform shaping the future of hiring in New Zealand. As a Sales & Business Development Executive you will own the full commercial cycle – from prospecting new customers to nurturing long‑term partnerships and driving product adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities across ZEIL’s target customer segments.
• Run the end‑to‑end sales process: outreach, qualification, proposal, negotiation and close.
• Build and maintain a transparent pipeline in HubSpot, contributing to forecasting and planning.
• Own the onboarding experience for newly‑won accounts and ensure early success.
• Maintain regular contact with existing accounts, uncovering upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Act as the voice of the customer, relaying market feedback to product and marketing teams.
• Track performance against KPIs such as pipeline creation, deals closed, retention and account health.

• Comfortable handling both new‑business hunting and ongoing account management.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
