Sales Account Manager – Rural Agribusiness

About the role

ProAg Products Ltd is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to expand its presence across Southland and Otago. You will work closely with rural customers, building long‑term partnerships and identifying new business opportunities while representing trusted crop‑packaging and wear‑part brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective rural customers.
• Manage a portfolio of key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities through proactive networking.
• Provide product recommendations, demonstrations, and technical support.
• Deliver customer training and technical advice (training provided).
• Travel throughout Southland and Otago to meet customers on‑site.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and process orders.
• Achieve individual sales targets and key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales or account management, preferably within the agricultural sector.
• Solution‑oriented approach with a practical mindset.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
• Confidence in both phone and face‑to‑face interactions.
• Current NZ driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly.
