RN – Department Pool – Med Surg Tele – Days

About the role
The Department Pool RN provides high‑quality, independent nursing care for a group of patients in a medical‑surgical telemetry unit. Working day shifts, the RN collaborates with the health‑care team to ensure safe, compassionate care while supporting the department’s staffing needs.
Key responsibilities
- Independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients using the nursing process.
- Delegate appropriate patient‑care activities to other team members and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
- Maintain professional accountability, documentation, and continuous development.
- Fill staffing gaps within the department as needed.
Required profile
- Associate’s degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Minimum 18 months of acute‑care or specialty nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) if required by the unit.
