Risk & Controls Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a sharp, curious risk professional to join Centrapay’s fast‑moving fintech team. In this hands‑on position you will design and test controls, investigate anomalies and help shape how risk is managed across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of Centrapay/Payap’s control framework.
• Design, test and remediate controls to close risk gaps.
• Lead periodic control testing cycles and maintain evidence for compliance activities.
• Prepare risk, controls and compliance reports and investigate data trends and gaps.
• Support regulatory and governance reporting requirements.
• Drive automation of assurance and measurement processes.
• Assist with audits, accreditations and other compliance programmes.
• Conduct security risk assessments for systems and third‑party vendors, track vulnerability remediation and facilitate risk workshops.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in risk management, information security or technology risk.
• Background in financial services or a regulated fintech environment.
• Proven ability to work with both technical and non‑technical teams and translate complex concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with an eye for patterns and inconsistencies.
