Reticulation Serviceperson – Water Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Reticulation Serviceperson to join Waikato Waters and support the delivery of essential water, wastewater and storm‑water services for our communities. The role involves hands‑on work installing, maintaining and repairing reticulation systems while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance and repair of water, wastewater and storm‑water reticulation networks.
• Diagnose and resolve blockages, leaks and system faults.
• Operate concrete saws and other specialised equipment safely.
• Collaborate with industry professionals to ensure efficient wastewater management.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Required profile

• NZ Certificate in Infrastructure Works (Level 3) or NZ Certificate in Pipeline Construction & Maintenance (Level 3).
• Minimum three years’ experience in reticulation work.
• Current TMO practising licence.
• Positive attitude and ability to work outdoors in a team environment.
• Full NZ driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Concrete saw operation (certificate required).
• Knowledge of water, wastewater and storm‑water reticulation systems.
• Problem‑solving and attention to detail.
