About the role

Mountain Warehouse is seeking an enthusiastic Team Leader to drive performance and create a vibrant shopping experience at our Papamoa store. You will lead a retail team, ensure operational excellence, and uphold the brand’s high standards of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Foster a collaborative team environment, coaching and mentoring staff to achieve shared goals.
• Maintain impeccable shop‑floor standards, including stock presentation, ticketing, and visual merchandising.
• Oversee daily store operations, opening and closing duties, and health & safety compliance.
• Motivate the team to meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Deliver consistent, exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Represent the Mountain Warehouse brand positively within the local community.

Required profile

• Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
• Confident motivator with a talent for inspiring others.
• Experienced across retail functions such as stock control and visual merchandising.
• Strong communicator able to give constructive feedback.
• Proactive, results‑driven with a proven track record of meeting goals.

Required skills

• Hourly rate of $25.00‑$26.00.
