Retail Experience Marketer

About the role

Spark NZ is looking for a Retail Experience Marketer to shape the future of its in‑store brand experience. You will translate marketing campaigns into engaging retail activations that drive sales and customer satisfaction across Spark’s retail network.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute retail campaigns, promotions, store openings, refurbishments and innovation projects.
• Turn marketing concepts into immersive in‑store experiences that help customers discover, choose and purchase.
• Collaborate with marketing, retail, category teams and external agencies to deliver high‑impact activations.
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve the customer journey and overall retail experience.
• Measure performance, analyse insights and continuously optimise activations.
• Explore AI, automation and new digital tools to increase team effectiveness.

Required profile

• 2+ years of marketing experience (agency or client side).
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Passion for retail, customer experience and digital innovation.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven mindset with a growth attitude.
• Strong organisational, project‑management and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Collaborative, positive attitude and curiosity for continuous learning.
