Retail Animation Specialist

About the role

As a Retail Animation Specialist for the Luxe Division in Auckland, you will create and deliver engaging in‑store events and visual experiences that bring prestigious brands to life, enhance consumer interaction, and drive sales.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the end‑to‑end retail animation calendar, from concept through in‑store implementation.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and education teams to align animations with brand strategy and commercial goals.
• Partner with retail partners to secure prime locations and ensure flawless execution of product launches, pop‑ups, events, and visual merchandising updates.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, and analyse performance and ROI of each activation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in visual merchandising, preferably within luxury, beauty or high‑end retail.
• Strong creative eye with solid understanding of design principles and ability to develop clear visual‑merchandising guidelines.
• Excellent project‑management skills, including budget and supplier coordination.
• Effective stakeholder‑management abilities to work with internal teams and external retail partners.
• Good knowledge of the New Zealand retail landscape and consumer behaviour.
