Restaurant Manager – Te Rapa

About the role

As a Restaurant Manager at Nando’s in Te Rapa you will lead a vibrant team, ensure a safe and welcoming environment, and deliver memorable dining experiences. You will act as the “Patrao”, overseeing daily operations and driving the restaurant’s performance as if it were your own.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team with passion, setting standards for service and hospitality.
• Maintain a clean, safe and inclusive restaurant environment.
• Anticipate operational needs, manage shift flow and ensure smooth service.
• Drive energy, atmosphere and overall performance of each shift.
• Oversee compliance with liquor, First Aid, CPR and manager certifications as required.

Required profile

• Proven leadership or management experience, preferably in fast‑casual dining.
• Highly organised with the ability to run smooth operations while developing staff.
• Motivated by empowering others and solving problems in a fast‑paced setting.
• Alignment with Nando’s values: Pride, Passion, Courage, Integrity and Family.
• Legal right to work in Australia/New Zealand and be 18 years or older.

Required skills

• Liquor accreditation (where applicable).
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Manager accreditation as required by local legislation.
