About the role
Join the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment NZ as a Residential Services Officer, where your work directly supports refugees and asylum seekers in New Zealand. Based at Te Āhuru Mōwai o Aotearoa in Mangere, you will help create a welcoming environment for newcomers and ensure their care, wellbeing, and rights are upheld.
Key responsibilities
- Provide quality services related to the care, wellbeing, and rights of refugees and asylum seekers.
- Support newcomers in settling into the community and accessing essential resources.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all clients.
Required profile
- Passion for assisting refugees, asylum seekers, and other newcomers.
- Strong commitment to delivering high‑quality, compassionate service.
- Ability to work effectively in an on‑site, full‑time role.
