Reservations Sales Agent – Full Time

About the role

Join the Reservations team at Cordis, Auckland, an award‑winning luxury hotel. As a full‑time Reservations Sales Agent you will assist guests with room and dining bookings, respond to enquiries and support the daily operations of the Service Centre.

Key responsibilities

• Manage room, food and beverage reservations via phone and email.
• Process bookings accurately, update guest information and prepare daily arrival reports.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, dining outlets, memberships and services.
• Identify and upsell rooms, dining experiences and other hotel offerings.
• Follow up on pending bookings, payments and outstanding correspondence.
• Handle guest feedback, requests and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate closely with Front Office, Food & Beverage and other departments.
• Support group reservations, training bookings and other operational tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Guest‑focused and proactive with strong organisational abilities.
• Previous experience in reservations, hospitality or customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confidence speaking with guests over the phone and by email.
• Good time‑management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
