Reservations Executive – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Join the front‑office team at Hotel St Moritz, a luxury property in New Zealand’s iconic alpine setting. As a Reservations Executive you will be the first point of contact for guests, handling enquiries by phone and email and ensuring every reservation is processed accurately and promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify and input group, FIT and corporate reservations following hotel policy.
• Answer all calls within three rings using the prescribed greeting and provide detailed information on facilities and services.
• Assist the Events & Groups Executive with reservation‑related tasks.
• Ensure all reservations are actioned on the same working day and that any special requests are recorded.
• Promote Accor Live Limitless membership and benefits.
• Monitor third‑party booking portals, record weekly commissions and maintain alerts for special occasions or rate exceptions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel guest services/front‑office operations.
• Proficiency with Opera or a comparable Property Management System.
• Effective time‑management and ability to multitask.
• Immaculate grooming and professional presentation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Self‑motivated, friendly and able to work autonomously.
• Clean police record.

Required skills

• Opera PMS (or equivalent property management system).
