About the role
Whitecliffe School of Information Technology is seeking a PhD‑qualified contractor to teach Research Methods to Masters and Postgraduate students. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality instruction in research design, data collection, and analysis across qualitative, quantitative, and mixed‑methods approaches.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver lectures and workshops on research methods.
- Guide students in formulating research questions, study designs, and analysis plans.
- Provide structured feedback on research proposals and written assignments.
- Hold regular check‑ins or consultations to support student progress.
- Collaborate with the programme team to ensure alignment with course learning outcomes.
Required profile
- PhD in a relevant discipline.
- Experience teaching at Masters or Postgraduate level.
- Strong ability to communicate complex methodological concepts.
