Rendering Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Rendering Supervisor to lead daily rendering operations at our plant. You will combine practical mechanical expertise with strong leadership to ensure production, safety, and quality targets are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee rendering production and keep workflows on track.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using first‑line mechanical skills and support maintenance teams.
• Lead, coach, and develop operators while fostering a strong safety and food‑safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, MPI expectations, and internal standards.
• Support audits, drive continuous improvement, and maintain safe systems of work.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory experience in manufacturing, processing, or rendering.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pumps, conveyors, heat systems, and general plant equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems under pressure.
• Good understanding of health & safety and food‑production environments.
• Experience working with HACCP or similar food‑safety systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; hands‑on and solutions‑focused.
