Remote Junior Freelance Web Designer (Squarespace)

About the role

We are looking for a remote junior freelance web designer to redesign a marketing agency’s Squarespace website. The project aims to refresh the visual identity, improve user experience, and support bilingual content in English and Latvian.

Key responsibilities

• Redesign and implement a visually appealing Squarespace website aligned with the agency’s brand.
• Optimize layout and navigation for desktop and mobile devices.
• Integrate and maintain English and Latvian language versions.
• Preserve or improve existing SEO performance during the redesign.
• Ensure the site is easy for non‑technical users to update.
• Provide guidance on best practices for ongoing maintenance and content updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and developing Squarespace websites with a strong portfolio.
• Expertise in responsive design, UX/UI principles, and multilingual site implementation.
• Solid understanding of SEO best practices for Squarespace.
• Ability to translate brand guidelines into effective web design solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely.
• Attention to detail, creative problem‑solving, and proactive project delivery.
