Reliability Engineer

About the role

The Reliability Engineer will lead Abbott's Maintenance Excellence programme at the site, working closely with manufacturing and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and reduce operational risk. This role focuses on predictive maintenance, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement of reliability processes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Site Lead for the division Maintenance Excellence programme.
• Identify and manage equipment reliability risks that could impact plant operations.
• Develop and implement predictive maintenance techniques for manufacturing equipment.
• Gather maintenance and performance data, perform trend analysis and support root‑cause investigations.
• Lead reliability‑centered maintenance projects and monitor critical equipment performance.
• Prepare recommendations and action plans to drive cost containment and reduction.
• Facilitate root‑cause analysis sessions and coach teams on downtime investigations.
• Conduct reliability studies, benchmark best practices and deploy predictive maintenance strategies.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in equipment reliability and maintenance engineering.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional manufacturing and maintenance teams.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and action plans.
• Commitment to quality, safety and environmental standards, including ISO compliance.
