Relationship Associate

About the role

The Relationship Associate will support Relationship Managers in the Agri team, delivering seamless banking experiences to commercial and small business customers. This role offers development of credit and relationship management skills, with potential delegation of credit approvals after 12 months.

Key responsibilities

• Listen to customers, understand their business requirements and ensure they feel valued.
• Gain insights into customer portfolios, including size, objectives, challenges and value propositions.
• Manage a small client portfolio at senior management’s discretion.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Senior Managers and product partners to deliver tailored solutions.
• Drive customer satisfaction by providing thoughtful interactions and value‑added insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Solid understanding of structuring security arrangements.
• Strong analytical skills to assess and interpret financial trends.
• Experience in banking, financial services or lending environments.
