Registered Nurse – Special Care Unit (Full‑time)

About the role

Join the supportive team at Jane Mander Retirement Village in Whangārei as a full‑time Registered Nurse on the Special Care Unit. You will work a rotating schedule, providing high‑quality, compassionate care to our residents in a modern, secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high‑quality nursing care that meets the "good enough for mum and dad" standard.
• Assess residents, develop and regularly review individualized care plans.
• Administer treatments and ongoing support, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
• Utilise the purpose‑built care application "myRyman Care" to document care and communicate with the team.
• Support the Clinical Manager and Unit Coordinators with day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) for Registered Nurses.
• Reliable, friendly and professional manner with a willingness to share knowledge.
• Kindness, compassion and a strong drive to deliver high‑quality resident care.
• New Zealand work rights (overseas candidates must already hold these).

Required skills

• Proficiency with the "myRyman Care" care management application.
