Registered Nurse – Part-Time

About the role

Elizabeth R Lifecare in Stratford, Taranaki is seeking a Permanent Part‑Time Registered Nurse (30 hours per week) to work across AM, PM, night and weekend shifts. You will provide high‑quality nursing care, lead team members and build strong relationships with residents, families and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to all residents.
• Lead and support junior staff and care assistants.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Promote resident well‑being and ensure daily improvement in care standards.
• Participate in on‑call roster, including night shifts.

Required profile

• Current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
• Previous RN experience in New Zealand or overseas, preferably in aged or dementia care.
• Strong team spirit, empathy and excellent communication skills.
• Effective time‑management and prioritisation abilities.
• Understanding of Nga Paerewa standards and the Treaty of Waitangi in the workplace.
