Registered Nurse (Part-time)

About the role
As a part‑time Registered Nurse at Oceania’s Heretaunga village, you will work within a nurse‑led service delivering full‑scope care to aged‑care residents. You will use your clinical expertise to assess, plan and implement care while building strong relationships with residents, families and the wider health team.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily care needs of residents and support care staff.
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions independently and collaboratively.
- Make critical decisions regarding resident care, demonstrating professional autonomy.
- Develop and maintain connections with residents, families and community allied health professionals.
- Provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to care staff and team members.
Required profile
- Current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate.
- Commitment to delivering excellent service in an aged‑care setting.
- Previous experience using clinical systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time‑management and ability to coach/mentor staff.
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends and nights.
Required skills
- Experience with InterRai clinical software (desirable).
