About the role

Join the Summerset Palms village team as a Registered Nurse, delivering high‑quality aged‑care services and enhancing the daily lives of long‑term residents. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on resident‑directed care and collaborative teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residents’ everyday clinical and end‑of‑life needs.
• Create, implement, and review long‑term care plans and clinical assessments.
• Take charge of the care centre during assigned shifts, making appropriate clinical decisions.
• Deliver planned nursing care, evaluate progress with residents and families, and adjust care as needed.
• Provide guidance and direction to caregivers on shift.
• Build trusted relationships with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Current NZ nursing registration and practising certificate.
• Genuine interest in working with older adults in a retirement‑village setting.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, calmness under pressure, and emotional resilience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusive care.
