About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our modern 69‑bed Care Home and Hospital in sunny Nelson. This is a permanent full‑time position (32 hours per week) covering AM, PM, night and weekend shifts, providing high‑quality care to our residents.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of dedicated caregivers to ensure high‑level quality care.
- Develop, monitor and update individual care plans.
- Carry out clinical assessments for residents.
- Build lasting relationships with residents, families and general practitioners.
- Support clinical services and care home managers in daily operations.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, either in New Zealand or abroad.
- Current APC registration.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
- Genuine passion for helping people with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Team spirit, empathy and a drive to make a difference.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and health‑and‑safety procedures.
