Registered Nurse – ICU (Day Shift)

About the role

Join a leading health‑care network as a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical ICU at Mease Dunedin Hospital. This full‑time day‑shift role (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) offers the chance to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care to critically ill patients while working alongside a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent, comprehensive nursing care to a group of ICU patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient vitals and assessments, identifying any sudden changes.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate emergency interventions.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to other health‑care team members.
• Document discharge planning and arrange referrals to ensure continuity of care.

Required profile

• Current RN (Registered Nurse) license.
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor’s or higher degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience in an acute‑care setting.
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association).
