Registered Nurse – General Practice (Kerikeri)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our friendly, growing general practice team in Kerikeri. As a Practice Nurse you will work closely with GPs and the wider clinical team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support within the general practice setting.
• Collaborate with GPs and other clinicians to ensure coordinated, community-focused healthcare.
• Administer vaccinations and perform smear tests where authorised.

Required profile

• Current NZ practising certificate as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in general practice is desirable but not essential.
• Team player with strong communication skills and a caring, positive approach.
• Commitment to supporting the health and wellbeing of the local community.

Required skills

• Vaccination administration (or willingness to be trained).
• Smear taking (or willingness to be trained).
