Registered Nurse – Full-time General Practice

About the role

The Doctors Total Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join its general practice team. This permanent, full-time position offers a balanced 32‑40 hour week, Monday to Friday, with no evenings or weekends, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in the community.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with GPs and the wider clinical team to provide comprehensive primary care.
• Conduct patient assessments, administer vaccinations, and perform smear tests where required.
• Support chronic disease management and health promotion initiatives.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with NZ health regulations.
• Participate in practice meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of services.

Required profile

• Current NZ practising certificate as a Registered Nurse.
• Willingness to work in a general practice setting; prior GP experience is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and a caring, positive approach.
• Team-player who enjoys collaborative work and community focus.
