Registered Nurse – Aged Care

About the role
Oceania is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join its nurse‑led teams across Auckland villages. You will deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care to older residents, working in a supportive environment that encourages you to practice to your full scope.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily clinical care needs of residents.
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and implement care plans.
- Make sound clinical decisions and respond to changing resident needs.
- Build relationships with residents, families/whānau, and allied health professionals.
- Lead, coach, and support Healthcare Assistants and the wider care team.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to quality improvement.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and caring environment.
Required profile
- Current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate (APC) and registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
- Previous nursing experience, preferably in aged care or a similar clinical setting.
- Flexibility to work a variety of rostered shifts, including weekends and nights.
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaborative abilities.
Required skills
- Experience using electronic clinical documentation systems.
- Familiarity with InterRAI (desirable but not essential).
