About the role

Join Brookhaven Retirement Village, part of Heritage Lifecare, as a full‑time Registered Nurse in Christchurch. You will provide high‑quality, compassionate care to our residents and lead a dedicated team of caregivers in a warm, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of caregivers to ensure excellent resident care.
• Develop, monitor and update individual care plans.
• Conduct clinical assessments and deliver nursing interventions.
• Build lasting relationships with residents, families and general practitioners.
• Support Clinical Services and Care Home Managers in daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand or abroad.
• Current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) in good standing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Genuine passion for helping people and a collaborative team spirit.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures and continuous improvement.
